I received an e-mail message recently that had been forwarded many times. By the time it got to me, it contained these 845 e-mail names. Many are duplicated, showing the message has repeated itself many times. The message says the Make a Wish Foundation will donate 7 cents for every name on the list. This is a grand total of $59.15 for this list. Do you really think that amount of money will help? Lets get real. This is obviously another hoax to clog the e-mail system and can be verified by checking this site on the web: http://www.snopes.com/ and also check my websites page for virus and hoax information.
Note: This list can be used to review the variety of e-mail names when trying to choose one. These are all names that were made public by the sender not using BCC for the addresses. See how easy it is to collect a list of address for a mailing list.
In 2009, I had a request to remove one name from this page. I elected not to do it. These are all names that were made public by someone else and serve to show the problems that are part of using a computer without proper education. Sorry but all names stay.
